Maintenance
This will include various odd jobs and equipment is provided.
A job sheet would be provided upon arrival. Each area will establish tasks throughout the week for completion. Time required on day will vary dependent on number of jobs required.
We are happy for you to contribute for mornings 8:30/9:00am-12:00pm, afternoons 1:00pm-4:00pm or even full days and either weekly, fortnightly or monthly.
We roster volunteers one month in advance to ensure the smooth operation of the Haven, so contact will always be made at the end of each month to forecast the month ahead.
All new volunteers will be required to attend an initial Health and Safety Induction which includes a tour of the premises. These are held weekly on a Saturday for approximately one hour.
If you would like to volunteer for the Waikato SPCA, please complete an application form, located below and post or return to our branch (attention Alicia Cowan, Team Leader Customer Services)
Thank-you and we look forward to meeting you!
